The Scandinavian Cone Company is now Australia’s largest producer of high quality Ice Cream Cones. With the rapid expansion of its business it was necessary to construct a purpose built bakery at Murwillumbah.

This state of the art, multi million dollar premises provides a production area and a warehouse three times the size of anything they have had previously making it one of the most modern and efficient cone bakeries in the world.

ROXSET, the #1 applicator of OH&S Food Production Coatings, the ROXSET SE1 coating system was chosen as the new protective surface to cover the extensive warehouse/production area.

An Ultra Hygienic, hard wearing solution was needed to conform to health and safety OH&S standards and comply with HACCP, BRC and AQIS. The warehouse floor needed an anti slip floor coating for extra safety and protection. The 4-6mm finish was installed to provide an ability to withstand thermal shock as well of providing excellent impact protection for both forklift and foot traffic.

The ROXSET solution is also slip and abrasion resistant making it an excellent choice for the food industry.

ROXSET SE1 can be tailored to compliment the aesthetic requirements and facilities finish to suit the customer environment. Scandinavian Cone Company choose a textured Koala grey finish transforming a concrete floor into an attractive efficient and safe working environment.

ROXSET SE 1 is ideal for wet and dry food processing zones where the highest level of food hygiene and safety need to be met without compromising on appeal.
